Rubus niveus, commonly known as the Mysore raspberry or hill raspberry, is a species of flowering plant in the Rosaceae family. Native to parts of Asia, including India and China, it produces edible dark purple to blackberries. The plant thrives in subtropical climates and is often found in mountainous regions. Its berries are sweet and used in jams, desserts, and fresh consumption. The plant has thorny stems and pinnate leaves, making it resemble other raspberry species. It is sometimes cultivated for its fruit but can also grow wild.
