Search tips

When searching for images and videos, you can use common plant names, scientific plant names, seasons, colors and other terms. Capitalization is not relevant. Several search terms can be linked with operators:

• AND

  Search for images and videos that match both search terms. Multiple search terms are automatically associated with this operator by default. Example: Both rose yellow and rose and yellow display images and videos of yellow roses.

• OR

  Search for images and videos that match the first or second search term. Example: tree or shrub displays images and videos of trees and shrubs.

• NOT

  Search for images and videos that do not match the second search term. Example: tree not oak displays images and videos of trees, but none of oaks.
