Virginia creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia)

Parthenocissus quinquefolia, commonly known as Virginia creeper, is a fast-growing deciduous vine native to eastern and central North America. It features five-leaflet palmate leaves that turn bright red in fall. The plant produces small greenish flowers and dark blue berries. It clings to surfaces via adhesive tendrils and is often used as an ornamental plant for covering walls or fences. While attractive, it can become invasive if not controlled. The berries are toxic to humans but provide food for birds.
