Salvia nemorosa, commonly known as woodland sage or Balkan clary, is a hardy perennial herbaceous plant. It features spikes of violet-blue flowers and aromatic gray-green leaves. Native to Europe and Western Asia, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Drought-tolerant and attractive to pollinators, it blooms from late spring to summer. Ideal for borders, rock gardens, or meadows.
