Abies pinsapo, commonly known as the Spanish fir, is a coniferous tree native to southern Spain and northern Morocco. It thrives in mountainous regions, preferring limestone soils. This evergreen species has stiff, blue-green needles and can grow up to 30 meters tall. It is valued for its ornamental use and is considered vulnerable due to habitat loss and climate change.
