Abies koreana, commonly known as Korean fir, is a compact evergreen conifer native to South Korea. It grows up to 10-18 meters tall and features short, dark green needles with silvery undersides. Known for its striking purple-blue cones that appear even on young trees, it thrives in cool climates and well-drained soil. Popular in ornamental gardens for its symmetrical shape and winter hardiness.
