Mentha suaveolens, commonly known as apple mint or pineapple mint, is a perennial herb in the Lamiaceae family. It has fuzzy, rounded leaves with a sweet, fruity aroma resembling apples or pineapples. Native to Europe and the Mediterranean, it grows up to 1 meter tall, producing pale pink or white flowers in summer. Used in teas, desserts, and aromatherapy, it spreads aggressively via rhizomes. Prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade.
