Wisteria sinensis, commonly known as Chinese wisteria, is a deciduous climbing vine native to China. It produces fragrant, cascading clusters of purple or white flowers in spring. The plant can grow aggressively, reaching up to 30 meters, and requires strong support. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. Pruning is essential to control growth and encourage flowering. Toxic if ingested.
