Wisteria floribunda, commonly known as Japanese wisteria, is a woody, deciduous vine native to Japan. It produces long, cascading clusters of fragrant, purple, blue, pink, or white flowers in late spring to early summer. The plant can grow aggressively, reaching up to 30 feet or more, and requires sturdy support. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Pruning is essential to control growth and encourage flowering. Toxic if ingested.
