Phlox subulata, commonly known as creeping phlox or moss phlox, is a low-growing perennial plant native to North America. It forms dense mats of evergreen foliage and produces vibrant flowers in spring, typically in shades of pink, purple, white, or blue. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, it is often used as ground cover or in rock gardens. Drought-tolerant and hardy in USDA zones 3-9, it attracts pollinators like butterflies.
