Phlox paniculata, commonly known as garden phlox, is a perennial plant native to eastern North America. It produces clusters of fragrant, colorful flowers in summer, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Grows 2-4 feet tall. Popular in borders and cottage gardens.
