Cosmos bipinnatus, commonly known as garden cosmos or Mexican aster, is an annual flowering plant native to Mexico. It features feathery, fern-like foliage and produces daisy-like flowers in shades of pink, white, red, and purple. It thrives in full sun, tolerates poor soil, and attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies. Easy to grow, it blooms from summer to fall and is popular in gardens and wildflower meadows.
