Campsis radicans, commonly known as trumpet vine or trumpet creeper, is a fast-growing, deciduous woody vine native to the southeastern United States. It produces large, trumpet-shaped orange to red flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. The plant thrives in full sun to partial shade and is drought-tolerant once established. It can be invasive due to its aggressive growth and suckering habit. Ideal for trellises, fences, or arbors, but requires regular pruning to control spread. Hardy in USDA zones 4-9.
