Hibiscus moscheutos, commonly known as swamp rose mallow or hardy hibiscus, is a perennial plant native to wetlands in eastern North America. It features large, showy flowers in shades of white, pink, or red, blooming from mid-summer to early fall. The plant thrives in full sun and moist, well-drained soil, making it ideal for rain gardens or pond edges. It attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies.
