Hibiscus syriacus, commonly known as Rose of Sharon, is a deciduous flowering shrub native to Asia. It produces large, showy flowers in shades of white, pink, purple, or blue, blooming from summer to fall. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating drought and urban conditions. Often used in landscaping for its ornamental value, it can grow up to 3-4 meters tall. Hardy in USDA zones 5-9.
