Citrus reticulata, commonly known as mandarin orange or tangerine, is a small evergreen tree producing sweet, easy-to-peel citrus fruits. Native to Southeast Asia, it is widely cultivated for its flavorful, vitamin C-rich fruit. The tree has glossy leaves, fragrant white flowers, and bears fruit in winter. Varieties include clementines and satsumas.
