English walnut (Juglans regia 'Ockerwitzer Lange')

Juglans regia, commonly known as the English walnut or Persian walnut, is a deciduous tree native to Central Asia. It produces edible nuts and valuable timber. The tree grows up to 25–35 meters tall with broad, pinnate leaves. It thrives in temperate climates and is widely cultivated for its nutritious walnuts, rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The wood is prized for furniture and veneer.
