Picea abies, commonly known as the Norway spruce, is a large evergreen coniferous tree native to Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe. It has needle-like leaves, conical shape, and can grow up to 50-60 meters tall. Widely used for timber, paper production, and as a Christmas tree. It thrives in cool climates and well-drained soils.
