Picea glauca, commonly known as white spruce, is a coniferous evergreen tree native to northern North America. It grows up to 15–30 meters tall, with needle-like blue-green leaves and cylindrical cones. It thrives in cold climates and well-drained soils, often used for timber, pulp, and as an ornamental tree. It is also the provincial tree of Manitoba, Canada.
