Stachys macrantha, commonly known as big betony or large-flowered betony, is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Caucasus region. It features spikes of vibrant pink to purple tubular flowers and dark green, wrinkled leaves. Thriving in well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade, it blooms in early to mid-summer, attracting pollinators like bees. Ideal for borders or cottage gardens, it grows up to 60 cm tall and is drought-tolerant once established.
