Leucojum vernum, commonly known as spring snowflake, is a bulbous perennial native to Europe. It blooms in early spring with white, bell-shaped flowers featuring green or yellow tips. Prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade. Often confused with snowdrops (Galanthus) but has larger flowers and different leaf shape. Toxic if ingested. Hardy in USDA zones 4-8.
