Leucojum aestivum, commonly known as summer snowflake, is a bulbous perennial plant native to Europe and Western Asia. It produces nodding, bell-shaped white flowers with green tips in late spring to early summer. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and prefers partial shade. Often confused with snowdrops (Galanthus), it is larger and blooms later. Toxic if ingested.
