Hippophae rhamnoides, commonly known as sea buckthorn, is a hardy deciduous shrub native to Europe and Asia. It thrives in coastal and mountainous regions, tolerating poor soils. The plant has silvery-green leaves, thorny branches, and bright orange berries rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and oils. Its berries and leaves are used in food, cosmetics, and traditional medicine.
