Lamium maculatum, commonly known as spotted dead-nettle, is a perennial ground cover plant native to Europe and Asia. It features heart-shaped leaves with silvery-white markings and produces pink, purple, or white flowers in spring and summer. Thriving in shade to partial sun, it is often used in gardens for its attractive foliage and ability to suppress weeds. It is low-maintenance and deer-resistant.
