Prunus tenella, commonly known as the dwarf Russian almond, is a deciduous shrub native to Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It grows up to 1.5 meters tall, with slender branches and narrow leaves. In spring, it produces pink or white flowers, followed by small, bitter fruits. It is drought-tolerant and often used in ornamental gardens for its early blooms. Hardy in USDA zones 3-7.
