Liatris spicata, commonly known as blazing star or gayfeather, is a perennial plant native to eastern North America. It features tall spikes of purple or white flowers that bloom from top to bottom in summer. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, it attracts pollinators like butterflies and bees. Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, it's popular in gardens and floral arrangements.
