Buddleja davidii, commonly known as butterfly bush, is a deciduous shrub native to China. It produces fragrant, cone-shaped flower clusters in shades of purple, pink, white, or yellow, attracting butterflies and pollinators. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, growing up to 3-5 meters tall. Some varieties can be invasive in certain regions. Pruning in early spring encourages vigorous growth and flowering.
