Caryopteris x clandonensis, commonly known as bluebeard or blue mist shrub, is a deciduous hybrid plant. It features aromatic, silvery-green leaves and clusters of small, vibrant blue flowers in late summer to fall. It attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil, drought-tolerant once established. Grows 2-3 feet tall and wide, suitable for borders or containers. Prune in early spring to encourage new growth. Hardy in USDA zones 5-9.
