Weigela florida is a deciduous shrub native to East Asia, known for its trumpet-shaped pink flowers in spring. It grows 6-10 feet tall, prefers full sun to partial shade, and thrives in well-drained soil. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Prune after flowering to maintain shape. Hardy in USDA zones 4-8.
