Acer buergerianum, commonly known as Trident Maple, is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree native to East Asia. It features three-lobed leaves that turn vibrant red or orange in autumn. The bark is smooth and exfoliating, revealing attractive patterns. It is drought-tolerant and often used in bonsai due to its adaptability and attractive foliage. Grows well in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil.
