Stachyurus praecox

Stachyurus praecox, commonly known as early stachyurus, is a deciduous shrub native to Japan. It features arching branches with pendulous clusters of pale yellow flowers in early spring before leaves emerge. The plant grows up to 2-4 meters tall and prefers partial shade with moist, well-drained soil. Its attractive flowers and autumn foliage make it a popular ornamental choice.
