Cyclamen persicum, commonly known as Persian cyclamen or florist's cyclamen, is a flowering perennial native to the Middle East. It features heart-shaped leaves with silver patterns and produces vibrant, upswept flowers in shades of pink, red, white, or purple. It thrives in cool temperatures and prefers indirect light. Often grown as a houseplant, it blooms in winter but can be toxic if ingested. Requires well-draining soil and moderate watering, avoiding wetting the crown.
