Tricyrtis hirta, commonly known as the Toad Lily, is a perennial plant native to Japan. It features arching stems with lance-shaped leaves and unique, orchid-like flowers spotted with purple. Blooms appear in late summer to fall, thriving in shady, moist conditions. Ideal for woodland gardens, it grows up to 2-3 feet tall and attracts pollinators. Hardy in USDA zones 4-9.
