Japanese dogwood (Cornus kousa)

Cornus kousa, commonly known as Kousa Dogwood, is a small deciduous tree native to East Asia. It produces showy white or pink bracts in late spring, followed by edible red berries. The leaves turn vibrant red-purple in autumn. It prefers well-drained soil and partial shade. Resistant to dogwood anthracnose.
