Arum italicum, also known as Italian arum or lords-and-ladies, is a perennial plant native to Europe. It features arrow-shaped leaves with white veins and produces a pale yellow spadix surrounded by a greenish-white spathe. The plant blooms in spring, followed by bright red berries in summer. It thrives in shady, moist areas but is toxic if ingested. Often used in gardens for its ornamental foliage, it can become invasive in some regions.
