Acer campestre, commonly known as field maple, is a deciduous tree native to Europe and parts of Asia. It typically grows to 15-25 meters tall with a dense, rounded crown. The leaves are small, lobed, and turn yellow in autumn. It produces small greenish-yellow flowers in spring and winged seeds (samaras). Field maple is hardy, adaptable to various soils, and often used in hedges or as an ornamental tree. It supports wildlife, providing food for insects and birds.
