European larch (Larix decidua)

Larix decidua, commonly known as the European larch, is a deciduous conifer native to the mountains of Central Europe. It grows up to 45 meters tall with needle-like leaves that turn yellow in autumn before shedding. It produces small cones and thrives in cool climates with well-drained soil. Valued for its durable timber and ornamental use.
