European globeflower (Trollius europaeus)

Trollius europaeus, commonly known as the globeflower, is a perennial plant native to Europe and parts of Asia. It thrives in damp meadows and woodlands, producing bright yellow, globe-shaped flowers in late spring to early summer. The plant prefers moist, nutrient-rich soil and partial shade. It is often used in ornamental gardening for its striking blooms and attracts pollinators like bees. The globeflower is also known for its toxicity if ingested.
