European field elm (Ulmus minor syn. Ulmus carpinifolia)

Ulmus minor, commonly known as the Field Elm, is a deciduous tree native to Europe and parts of Asia. It grows up to 30 meters tall with a broad crown and dark green, serrated leaves. It is valued for its timber and shade but is susceptible to Dutch elm disease. Often planted in urban areas, it thrives in well-drained soils and tolerates various conditions.
