Lobelia erinus, commonly known as edging lobelia, is a small, trailing annual or perennial plant native to South Africa. It produces masses of small, vibrant blue, purple, pink, or white flowers from spring to fall. Ideal for borders, hanging baskets, and containers, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. It grows 6-9 inches tall and spreads up to 12 inches. Popular for its long blooming season and low maintenance.
