Easter redbud (Cercis canadensis)

Cercis canadensis, commonly known as Eastern Redbud, is a small deciduous tree native to eastern North America. It is known for its striking pink to purple flowers that bloom in early spring before the leaves emerge. The heart-shaped leaves turn yellow in fall. It thrives in well-drained soils and prefers full sun to partial shade. Often used in landscaping for its ornamental value.
