Acer tegmentosum, commonly known as Manchurian striped maple or snakebark maple, is a deciduous tree native to East Asia. It features smooth, greenish-white bark with vertical stripes, resembling snake skin. The leaves are broad, three-lobed, and turn yellow in autumn. It grows up to 10-15 meters tall and prefers moist, well-drained soils in partial shade. Often used in ornamental landscaping for its striking bark and foliage.
