Cornus canadensis, also known as bunchberry or creeping dogwood, is a low-growing perennial plant native to cool temperate regions of North America and Asia. It features whorls of dark green leaves, small white flowers in spring, and bright red berries in late summer. It thrives in moist, shady woodland areas and spreads via rhizomes. The berries are edible but bland. It's often used as a ground cover in gardens.
