Euphorbia pulcherrima, commonly known as poinsettia, is a popular ornamental plant native to Mexico. It is known for its bright red and green foliage, often used in Christmas decorations. The colorful parts are modified leaves called bracts, not flowers. It thrives in warm climates and requires indirect sunlight. The plant contains a milky sap that can be mildly toxic if ingested.
