Callistephus chinensis, commonly known as China aster, is an annual flowering plant native to China. It produces vibrant, daisy-like blooms in shades of pink, purple, blue, white, and red. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, it blooms from summer to fall. Popular in gardens and floral arrangements, it attracts pollinators. Requires regular watering and benefits from deadheading to prolong flowering. Susceptible to fungal diseases like powdery mildew.
