Robinia pseudoacacia, commonly known as black locust, is a fast-growing deciduous tree native to North America. It has fragrant white flowers, pinnate leaves, and thorny branches. The wood is durable and resistant to rot, often used for fence posts and furniture. It can be invasive outside its native range.
