Buxus balearica, commonly known as Balearic boxwood, is a slow-growing evergreen shrub or small tree native to the Balearic Islands and parts of Spain. It features glossy, dark green leaves and produces small, inconspicuous yellow-green flowers. This plant is drought-tolerant and thrives in well-drained soils, often used for hedges or topiary. It can reach up to 6 meters in height.
