Spanish foxglove (Digitalis thapsi 'Spanish Peaks')

Digitalis thapsi, also known as Spanish foxglove, is a perennial plant native to Spain and Portugal. It features rosettes of lance-shaped leaves and tall spikes of tubular, pink to purple flowers with spotted throats. It thrives in well-drained soil and prefers partial shade to full sun. Like other Digitalis species, it contains cardiac glycosides, making it toxic if ingested. It attracts pollinators such as bees and is often grown for ornamental purposes in gardens.
