Hydrangea aspera is a deciduous shrub native to the Himalayas and East Asia. It features large, velvety leaves and clusters of lacecap flowers with tiny central blooms surrounded by showy outer florets. The flowers range from white to pink or purple. It thrives in partial shade and moist, well-drained soil, growing up to 3 meters tall. Ideal for woodland gardens.
