Japanese lace fern (Polystichum polyblepharum)

Polystichum polyblepharum, commonly known as the Japanese tassel fern, is a semi-evergreen fern native to Japan and Korea. It features glossy, dark green fronds with finely divided, tassel-like tips. This fern thrives in shady, moist conditions and is often used in woodland gardens or as an ornamental plant. It grows up to 60 cm tall and is hardy in USDA zones 5-8. The plant is low-maintenance and resistant to deer.
